Conceptual Design for Infusion Product Manufacturing Facility

The client wanted to build a new aseptic filling facility in Morocco with two infusion filling lines. This new facility with a total gross floor area of 15000 m2, will be dedicated to manufacturing infusion products, supplying for Europe and African markets.

The concept design for this infusion product manufacturing facility focused on using strong engineering expertise and experience to articulate the broad outlines of the requirements for EPC biding in terms of GMP compliance, lean operation, energy saving, equipment sizing, utility calculation, etc., as well as integrating pharma equipment resources from China to incorporate technology solutions suitable for its business.

AUSTAR managed, coordinated, and led the conceptual design activities. The main service scope includes filling lines, clean utility/black utility systems, RM/FG warehouse, QC lab, utility center, Adm/office/living area, and BMS/EMS/PCS.

The facility was designed to provide and maintain the possibility to expand the production capacity in future project phases with minimal changes. To ensure that provide enough and more accurate details for the EPC bidding and the most suitable engineering design solutions, the AUSTAR design team incorporated technology solutions from China equipment suppliers into the project through our deep understanding of China pharma equipment market.
